The second collaboration between Kevin Focus and Kuru has been completed and featured on his Exclusive fabric Blog Mix released yesterday. Receiving great response from live audiences and DJs alike, Lock Connect is a deep Progressive House bit that finds its energy in old school stabs and classic vocal chimes. Kuru’s Escape Clause on Media Contender
The direction D&B has steered lately is definitely a sharp left, blatantly cutting off the Pendulum era without even looking in the rearview mirror. Producers are putting out Minimal and Techno-influenced tracks that go “kick-crackle-snap” instead of “boom-clack.” We believe there’s a happy medium in there somewhere and created a new bit entitled Escape Clause to fit into an aesthetic of dancefloor minimalism, if there is such a thing. It’s available now as a Media Contender Exclusive Release and free for download.
